The wonders of Prasadam is that it is food prepared with devotion and offered to Krishna.
Prasadam, which literally means “mercy” nourishes the body, mind, and soul. Prasadam is sanctified food and should be eaten with respect.
When we offer the Lord something with genuine love and devotion, He enters into the offering, and thus the remnants are non-different from Him. So you should not only deeply respect the things you’ve offered, but you should distribute them to others as well.
At The Champs, we understand how important it is to establish good healthy eating practices at a very young age.
We believe in providing highly nutritious, good quality meals, not only for your child’s health and physical wellbeing,
but also to develop their taste buds and social skills involving food.
Educating your child’s palette
We prepare all our meals on-site run by our cooks. Our menu is varied and we use fresh produce where we can, and use only ingredients of the highest quality, with every effort made to ensure low sodium and low sugar content.
Whether a baby or in Pre-school, we will provide your child with all the nutrients they need in delicious meals served in a stimulating environment. We have designed our menus to consider all the different stages of your child’s development.
Our children sit and eat together in their individual rooms. They learn the necessary skills for social eating, how to use cutlery, share food, and are encouraged to try new things. Our staff participate during mealtimes by talking with the children, helping them to differentiate between healthy and not so healthy foods.
As well as main meals, we provide snacks of fresh fruit and vegetable. By becoming involved, the children are more likely to taste new foods, and quickly begin to recognise different fruit and vegetables.
We believe that mealtimes should be social, happy times, where skills can be developed, and good food enjoyed.
